The area around Nagoya Station is a wide-area transportation terminal concentrating a number of public transportation facilities, and each day over one million passengers pass through. Midland Square is situated in the center of this area, and is having a powerful impact on those that visit it.
Midland Square has an open five level atrium, the highest elevation outdoor observation facility in Japan, and a pedestrian network connecting it to the rest of the city. Midland Square is Nagoya's new landmark, and together with its neighboring facilities adds excitement to the area around Nagoya Station.
Midland Square is a 47 storey, 6 basement level office tower and 6 storey, 5 basement commercial tower structure.
Within the office tower are many businesses that lead the economy of the city of Nagoya. The office tower is also home to Midland Hall, an urban communication space that combines convenience and comfort. Also present is the Sky Promenade, the highest elevation outdoor observation facility in Japan. At the Sky Restaurant visitors may enjoy a meal as they take in a panoramic view of the Nagoya cityscape.
In the first floor of the commercial tower are the "LEXUS Gallery Midland Square" and the Toyota Automobile Showroom. From the 1st to the 4th floors visitors will find world famous brands, as well as urbane shops and restaurants catering to adult tastes. On the 5th floor is Midland Square Cinema, a cinema complex renowned for its hospitable service.
